As a family owned locksmith service for over 70 + years covering the Niagara Region I have seen and heard from customer regarding the so called locksmith scammers......
- Low price then price changes when they show up.
- Tell you 20 min eta and 2 hours later they arrive.
- Drill out your lock instead of picking or decoding it.
- Shows up in a none labeled vehicle.
- Doesn't know how to install or repair your lock.
- Charges you for service that was not done.
- Takes parts of your lock system and does not return to fix or repair.
- Can't explain or fix the problem and leaves.
- Does damage to your door and frame.
- Communication skills are a problem.
- Fake or paid reviews as no one gets 3 - 6 five star reviews in one day to make them look good.
- The list goes on and on.
- So when looking for a proper professional locksmith check for years in business, reviews, pictures of work done. Upon arrival a labeled van / truck as well have them provide a business card and proper invoice with tax # on it.
