We'll as 2025 comes to an end, this completes the 20th season since taking the plunge to go out on my own and start Creative Gardening.
It has been an awesome 20 years. I've got to meet so many interesting people, many of which have become personal friends. I even have some who followed me from previous places of employment and whom I'm actually starting on 3rd generation.
Here's wishing Happy New Year and all the best in 2026.
Looking forward to getting back at it again in the spring and meeting up with friends, both new and old...

Creative Gardening is looking for a landscape helper for the 2024 season.
Experience is an asset but not necessary, as we're willing to train the right person.
So if you enjoy being outside in the fresh air and doing a wide variety of things from planting to maintenance, walkways and garden ponds and much more, then give me a call.
This is full-time from Spring until late fall, with possible part-time in the off season.

Had a great weekend, surprised one of my regular customers with a little woodworking gift.
Last fall, Fiona knocked down an apple tree. This really bothered her cause her late father had planted that tree himself. Unknown to her, we saved the trunk of the tree and had milled it into planks.Last week, I was finally able to get some shop time. I gave her an early Christmas present, a shelf made with the wood from her father's tree and a photo of them inserted into the opening.
She was quite emotional..

Creative Gardening is looking for a landscape helper to finish out the next 4-6 weeks of the 2022 season. This could lead into part-time indoors for the off season and full-time for the 2023 season.
Previous experience is an asset but not necessary as we work together as a team.

Creative Gardening is now hiring.
So if you're someone who enjoys the great outdoors and being creative, this could be for you.
There's always something different, from designing & maintaining flower beds, installing paverstone walks, driveways or retaining walls to creating beautiful water features you'll never get bored. We also install Rubaroc, a rubberized safety surface, and we now have a curbing machine for installing continuous decorative concrete curbs around flowerbeds, driveways etc.
We provide competitive wages. Experience is an asset, but not required as we work together as a team and training will be provided.

Here at Creative Gardening we are Happy to report that we've been given the OK to begin spring clean ups.The health and safety of our staff, clients and the public is of the utmost importance, so we will be following Dr. Morrison's recommendations for sanitizing and social distancing and we ask people to respect our workplace as well.
