Emily was diagnosed with Cri du Chat Syndrome when she was 15 months old. Following her diagnosis, we were told that our child would never walk, talk, recognize us or show any emotions. Emily is now a lovely 18 year old young lady who is fun, caring, a little clumsy and sweet. She lives on the Canadian East coast with her parents and enjoys art. She does walk, talk, recognize us and show many emot
