Getting your heat pump professionally deep cleaned yearly helps with cleaner air as well as consistent temperatures for your home.
As a mini split unit inside of your home or space, you recycle the air in the room by pulling air in through the top, then that air passes by the coil weather warm or cool and comes out through the lower front of the unit.
Condensation, dust, and whatever is in the air getting pulled into the top of the unit and passed through or around your screens ends up becoming a sludggy build up inside and beyond your plastics and screens. Sometimes it gets so bad that it will start leaking water/Condensation from the unit inside which can be a quick fix with a shop vac outside to the drain hose or it could be worse and have to be taken apart and cleaned by a professional.
If you choose to be on an annual schedule that usually works for most homeowners. Or in some cases every 3 months to help maintain optimum health of the units as well as the people breathing it in.
Keeping your screens clean is not enough in the life of a mini split high wall unit (Like the one in the picture).
Having them cleaned takes a weight of its shoulders and it usually works much better after a good deep cleaning. We have bookings available starting at $150/unit depending on location/Make/Model of unit etc.
