We used the last of the nice weather and some of the crappy weather to get this Eljen GSF bed and new 4500L Septic Tank/pump combo from Reid’s Precast. This backyard was super tight giving the homeowner limited options for what type of bed we could install. We were able to fit a 45’x50’ Eljen bed in a 48’x55’ back yard and still meet our clearances. Site was also super tight so trucking dirt out and in was a challenge.

We got this filter media bed knocked out this week for this new residence being built in West Lorne. Luckily the higher grade of the new house allowed us to avoid having to have a pump. This way it’s gravity to the bed. Tank supplied and delivered by Reid’s Precast, filter media sand by VanBree Aggregate.

Got this foundation dug in this week. We found this old crock well while digging. Luckily it won’t affect the construction. We will get that knocked out Monday and return once the foundation is done for backfilling, sump drain and septic pump chamber replacement.

We got Diamond 3 wrapped up for Dutton Baseball Association. 320tons of Mar-Co Washington red clay trucked in and spread. We expanded and reshaped the infield to allow full 90’ bases. It was definitely something out of the ordinary for us and a nice change of doing a job that will be seen and enjoyed opposed to not seeing any of the work performed. Thanks to Jeff Campbell Trucking for accommodating this project. We can’t wait to see some games next year once the fences are installed.

Got a good start on the Baseball Diamond for Dutton Minor Baseball/Dutton Dunwich this week. Now we are just waiting for the trucking company to be able to deliver some Mar-Co Washington Red Clay. We are honoured to help the community in building something for the kids to learn the game and have fun with friends.

This job was a fight from the time we pulled the equipment off the trailer and pulled trucks around the site in and out. This place is almost as south in Rondeau Park as you can go so was like driving on the beach. This job has a 3600l low pro and a 160L pump tank by . Out to a 12’x25’ bed.

Got this Waterloo BioFilter shed installed before the long weekend. The system that was existing was well past its lifespan. With the high water table we decided that the shed was the best option for the site.

Got the old front porch removed and the foundation dug up and prepared for one of our clients to perform new waterproofing, tar and footing drains. When he is done they will have a dry basement to enjoy.

Had a customer call last week about a sink hole they had develop in their back yard under their pool deck. When we checked it out we noticed that it was actually a 10’ diameter crockwell that has been abandoned for years. It had some metal pipes as supports and a wooden top that was buried 3’ below grade. We carefully cut 2’ of the side of the concrete pool deck and filled it full of HL3 gravel and packed it to prevent any damage to the pool that it was up against.

Got this GSF system installed this week after months of delays dealing with drainage issues on this property. This system features a 1000Gal tank with internal pump chamber by Reid’s Precast out to a 36’x46’ bed.

New Sanitary Sewer and Water Service for a new Micro Brewery in Dutton-Dunwich. The existing septic tank was still in service and the outlet was tied into the Storm Drain system. We found lots of old buried infrastructure so we elected to have the service Hydrovac’d and the other utilities daylighted. When we went to do the final Connection at the property line we discovered it had been broken under a bell Conduit. So more hydrovac and we got the stub repaired and hooked up.
