🍂 Our annual Fall Staff Meeting provided an opportunity to bring everyone together and talk about company updates, wage increases, and upcoming projects, and to celebrate our remarkable industry awards and our Employee of the Quarter award winners! 🏆👏

After taking care of business, we rolled into some fun with a few rounds of bowling 🎳 and a massive order of pizza🍕. There’s nothing quite like connecting in person, catching up, and aligning on what’s ahead, then sharing food and fun with the whole team.

At the end of June, we said a very bittersweet goodbye to Marion, as she began her well-deserved retirement. When Marion joined the company in 2004 as one of our very first employees, she became a foundation of what we were building. For over 20 years, she helped keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, designing the layout of our beautiful office, and ensuring our employees and their families had access to their health benefits.

Beyond everything Marion contributed professionally, she has been nicknamed fondly as our “office mom”. She is someone you can count on for support, guidance, and a helping hand. Her caring nature doesn’t stop at the office, as anyone who knows Marion knows about the special place in her heart for rescuing senior dogs and giving them the loving home they deserve.

As Marion settles into retirement, we want to thank her for her dedication, and the long-lasting mark she has left at Division 15. Congratulations Marion, and here’s to a retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, and lots of time with the pups!

As the classrooms, halls, labs, and recreation spaces at UBC fill with students once again, we’re proud to showcase two projects that contribute to the campus experience in meaningful ways. With a combined mechanical scope exceeding $17 million, the Beaty Biodiversity Centre addition, and Recreation Centre North demonstrate our team’s expertise in delivering complex mechanical systems for higher education facilities.

These facilities provide the infrastructure behind spaces where students learn, connect, and grow. From advanced laboratory systems to high-performance HVAC, and sophisticated recreation facilities, our team remained focused on quality and collaboration every step of the way. Division 15 is proud to contribute to projects that will support the UBC community for generations to come.

What a day at the MCABC NextGen Softball Tournament! 🥎🧢

As first-time participants, we stepped up to the pitch and finished with 3rd place. More importantly, we had an incredible time enjoying some friendly competition, camaraderie, and cheer with our mechanical industry community at Softball City.

Huge thank you to@mcabcofficial for organizing such a fantastic event, and bringing everyone together. We’re proud to have been part of the launch of what is sure to become a great summer tradition. Looking forward to coming back even stronger next year! 🏆

A successful project starts before crews arrive on site. Our prefabrication shop allows our team to prepare, assemble, and quality check key mechanical components in a controlled environment, creating a more efficient path from planning to installation.

Completing work ahead of time improves coordination between teams, reduces material waste, and helps keep jobsites more organized. This approach supports higher productivity in the field while maintaining the quality and attention to detail our projects are known for.

While much of this work is done behind the scenes, the impact is felt on every project. Our prefabrication capabilities remain an instrumental part of supporting project success, and how Division 15 delivers consistent results.

Division 15 is honoured to celebrate receiving the VRCA Silver Award for the AbCellera Evans GMP project. This is an achievement that reflects the incredible collaboration, expertise, and dedication of everyone involved.

As the first facility of its kind in Canada, this project became a cornerstone for scientific discovery and the development of life changing antibody-based therapies. Delivering the mechanical infrastructure for such a complex environment challenged our team to think creatively and execute at the highest level.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our team, the expertise of our trade partners, the support of the consulting team, and the trust of our client. A sincere thank you and congratulations to everyone who contributed to making this groundbreaking project an astounding success.

Division 15 is nearing completion on the Harry Jerome Recreation Centre project in the City of North Vancouver. With a mechanical scope valued at $28.8 million, our team has been instrumental in bringing this dynamic 200,000+ sq ft. facility to life. Designed to support physical and social wellbeing, this state-of-the-art building will feature spaces for childcare, aquatics, fitness, arena, gymnasium, seniors’ areas, and more.

This project reflects a strong commitment to creating spaces that support health and connection, values that represent Division 15’s approach to supporting our team, and the people around us.

With completion approaching in August 2026, and a target of LEED® Gold certification, our team has remained focused on quality, coordination, and delivering a facility that will serve the community for years to come.
