Job description
As a project manager at Appenzell construction your duties and responsibilities would include:
-Managing the full life cycle of the project
-Performing detailed and organized electronic quantity take offs using Bluebeam
-Creating construction budgets
-Manage the procurement of materials, sub contractors, and permits
-Collaborating with Clients, Designers, Subcontractors, Vendors and on-site Trades.
-Develop project plans and schedules
-Collect and organize project documentation
-Financial management of the projects

The types of projects you would be involved in are:
-High end custom homes
-Major renovations
-Multi family residential
-Infill developments
-Commercial renovations
-Light civil construction

We are looking for someone:
-Enthusiastic and proactive
-Who has a willingness to learn and adapt to ever changing construction climates, building practices and new technologies
-With previous construction project management experience
-Has project management education/certification: CPM certificate, -BSc Construction Project Management (BCPM), PMP
-Proficient with typical project management applications such as:
-Bluebeam
-Zoom
-MS Teams
-Google Drive
-Excel
-BIM 360
-CoConstruct
-Builder Trend
-Has excellent organizational and communication skills

Appenzell Construction is a Revelstoke-based commercial and residential builder, with many years of experience in luxury home building and renovations. We take pride in our work, delivering open communication, skilled craftsmanship and efficient construction.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled heavy equipment operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to skid steers, excavators and dump trucks, to assist in the efficient completion of residential construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and possess the ability to work collaboratively within a construction team.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in residential construction.
• Class 1 or 3 license is an asset as some truck driving will be required
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Job description:

Located in Revelstoke. We are looking to hire experienced carpenters and apprentice carpenters. Multiple new builds and projects lined up. Lots of work for the foreseeable future. This is a long term payroll position, happy to sponsor international candidates. We are looking to maintain a work culture where people are respected and listened to with opportunities to advance and grow. Pay based on experience and tools. Certs/Red Seal preferred but not mandatory.

Detailed job description:
As a carpenter working for Appenzell we expect the employee to be proficient, self reliant and effective in completing various tasks and duties that they are given. These duties and skills required, consist of and not limited to, various tasks such as;

•Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and plans
•Prepare and set out building foundations
Cut and install concrete forms for building foundations
•Measure, cut and erect timber frame walls, flooring systems and roof systems
•Measure, cut and install various siding materials made up of timber, metal and fibre cement
•Measure, cut and install internal finishes consisting of casements, baseboards, chair rails etc.
•Install doors, windows and the necessary hardware required

Employment requirements:
•Own Tools/Equipment - Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, •Safety glasses/goggles
•Transportation/Travel - Own transportation
