Road is open folks!
Radios are mandatory.
Drive safe have fun!

We're happy to let everyone know that the Boulder Mountain Road (officially known as the Jordan Forest Service Road) has re-opened to vehicles. That means that you can get your bike gang together and shuttle the trails on Boulder!

Remember, this is an active industrial road, with lots of gravel truck traffic heading from two gravel pits, plus all the recreational traffic (including cyclists). Radio use is required! Call out your kilometres and drive with care because you never know when you might encounter another vehicle or rider.

We are so stoked on this new up trail! Thank you Revelstoke Cycling Association for keeping the Boulder trails and Jordan FSR safe for everyone!

You may have noticed the new platform and kiosk at the top of Sisyphus. We'd like to thank Jake-Jay Construction for providing the dirt and machinery for the platform, and Little Big Works for helping us install the kiosk. And, of course, our trail crew, for their hard work on some hot days.

This means no more waiting on the road while your friends finish up the climb trail. Soon enough, we'll have a trail network sign there as well.

We are grateful for the RCA and their work on the new up-track on Boulder Mtn!

Today's Trail Tuesday is all about Sisyphus, our new climb trail on Boulder Mountain, which is adopted by Jake-Jay Construction. Sisyphus winds through a beautiful forest from the Boulder parking lot to the top of Gravy Bacon, providing access to the lower Boulder trail network. Opened this spring, it has proven to be hugely popular.

"What we like most about Sisyphus is that it provides a safe up-track for bikers to access the trails without needing to pedal up the Jordan FSR! Attention Revelstoke!

The Jordan FSR is now open for summer, and we would like to remind everyone that radio use is mandatory when travelling on this road Monday to Friday.
Please call your KMs and actively listen for other folks using this road.

Mountain bikers: there is an awesome new climbing trail for Boulder thanks to the Revelstoke Cycling Association! If not shuttling, we encourage the use of the climbing trail rather than cycling on the road. No more eating dust!

Lets work together to ensure safe travel for everyone on this shared-use road.

JJC is stoked for the new mountain bike climbing trail being put in on Boulder Mountain! This will provide a great uphill route for bikers, and will help keep bikers and drivers alike safe with less traffic!
They need some help naming the trail - we think "No Dump Trucks" might be appropriate.

Construction of the Boulder Climb Trail is underway, but we don't have a name for it yet. We've got a few ideas we've tossed around, but we thought it would be great to see what the membership comes up with first.

So, if you've got an idea for a name, post it in the comments below. You may see it on sign posts if it's chosen.
