PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Please be advised Environment Canada has issued a SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT for all areas of Renfrew County.

Strong southwesterly winds forecast today into this evening, with gusts up to 70 or 80 km/h expected. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. Power outages are possible.

Winds will gradually decrease through tonight. In addition, a strong cold front will move through the region tonight. This front may be associated with bursts of heavy snow and blowing snow giving significantly reduced visibility along with a sharp temperature drop.
