What a feeling to see this from Sandy Steps Child Care Centre and the Town of Regina Beach.

Six years ago we were pretty much just a roofing company. We put “Construction” in the name because we knew we wanted to do bigger things someday, just weren’t exactly sure what those things were yet.

With a lot of grit, determination, perseverance, and resiliency ANYTHING is possible. We just kept showing up and figuring it out.

Here we are today, with our first commercial project of this scale in the books, helping expand Sandy Steps to the tune of 2100SF so they can take care of 60 kids!!!

Really proud of our crews for the work they put in, and grateful we got to help bring this vision to life for the community of Regina Beach, a place that’s given us so much over the years.

Big thanks to the Sandy Steps team and the Town of Regina Beach for trusting us with it.

Days off school can’t always be all fun and games… Running a family business means sometimes we all have to pitch in. These girlies learnt this last week. From picking up marketing material and prepping handouts for the Canada Day parade to delivering materials and equipment rentals to job sites, they were positive and happy to help in any way they could! They even got to spend some time in the office entering expenses! Needless to say, after a long work day that ended at the rink they happily welcomed a EBT!!

Huge congratulations to Owen Coulter — Our newest Red Seal Carpenter!

Owen just finished his final stint in carpentry school, wrote his Interprovincial Red Seal exam last Friday, and absolutely crushed it. Passed with flying colours. Welcome back to the team fella.

We tried to get a clean victory photo and after multiple attempts, this was the best we could do.
See if you can find the photo bomber, our electrician in his natural habitat — middle finger proudly displayed.

Owen has been with Long Lake Construction Inc. since his second-year apprenticeship. Watching him grow into the skilled, reliable Red Seal carpenter he is today has been awesome. He’s stepped up every time.

Just finished this beauty 36”x36” shower in Regina.

Full Schluter waterproofing system (Kerdi membrane + Kerdi-Shower base) under white marble-look porcelain tile. Contrasting small hex mosaic on the floor. Everything is properly sloped, bonded, and sealed the right way with zero shortcuts.

Feels spacious, looks premium, and will last for many moons to come.

Just wrapped up another clean chain link fence project.

We installed 426 LF of 5’ black chain link with privacy slats + 42 LF of 4’ black chain link around the utility area for the outdoor play yard at the new Pebbles to Rocks Daycare in Estevan, SK

This place is going to be a great addition to the community when it opens this spring and we’re proud to be part of it.

Here’s a proud showcase of this 24x32 garage we built this fall from the ground up with zero corners cut or expenses spared in Regina Beach! 24x32 engineered concrete raft slab with 16x16 tapered thickened edge, 15M rebar grid & stirrups both @ 16 OC, 66 LF of a 3’ retaining wall for 3 sides to hold the bank

Lumber supply from our go to Fries Tallman, sided with Royal Estate shingled with IKO both from Roofmart Regina to match the house we updated last year, crete from Last Mountain Concrete and last but not least thanks to our friends at K2 Overhead Doors for the supply & install of the 16x8 OHD.
