Here is my latest completed bathroom project. This was fairly extensive from rough to finish in terms of basically completely re configuring all plumbing and electrical. Completely moved and framed in new door opening. Part of this bathroom borders on the original footprint of the house and part an addition to the house. I demoed the bathroom down to the studs and floor joists. Having to add and support existing joists that had been cut through and comprised as well as firing up joists in order to get all floor joists on the same plane. Couldn’t be happier to complete this insurance rebuild in Whitmore Park. With so many Regina residents having to deal with flooded basements. These can be stressful times for homeowners. It’s great to contribute in bringing that sense of peace back within the home. In this particular home my clients own and run a private day care centre which I believe are so important in staying connected, building and maintaining our communities. It was my pleasure to revitalize and bring some life back to this space. With a daycare you truly need all the functional space you can get. It was great to see the daycare kids migrate back into there space in the basement and free up the main level. Happy to work for such a great family! 🙏🤙

Here are some early photo’s of a few project’s. A basement Finnish at mud/tape stage and an ensuite bathroom that is being stripped to the bones exposing the studs and floor joists. It will be transformed into a custom tiled steam shower wrapped in a classic white subway tile with quartz wall caps and chrome fixtures. These photos show its current demoed stage and the completed concept drawing.

A quick blast up North to Kidd island on Lac la ronge with Strauby and the Ho**er boys. Thanks for the beers and laughs gents.🍻We managed to frame a stairway that winds up a rocky path to the cabin. As you walk up it gets steeper and narrows but I think we found a safe solution for the future, and all families while staying at the cabin trudging up and down the path with gear.A great spot and some peaceful fall vibes ☮️🌞🏕🛶🎣

Here is a small reno project finished awhile back in Windsor park. This project started with a mud room remodel and a basement bedroom that I had previously developed expansion into a secondary bedroom. In the mud room we opened up the laundry area by deleting a wall and demoed the common wall(front entrance closet wall) creating a double sided entry closet. We added a coffered ceiling bi-passing doors for closet a barn door for laundry room. With the basement bedroom expansion it involves a considerable amount of patience and careful finishing. Having to finish into existing finished space. Cutting away carpet in order to anchor your floated walls and removing portions of baseboards and drywall to adjoin walls. Framing walls against finished drop ceiling without dismantling the ceiling, then having to finish, patch and blend these transitions seamlessly. 🥴thanks to Lauriane and Clint for there continuing patience and kindness. Wether chatting about classic vinyl or listening too a Grateful Dead marathon with Clint or dreaming up the next project with Lauriane. Their presence was always appreciated. 🙏 Here are some before and after pics.

Here are some finish pics of a composite deck we built in Whitmore Park. This is a 20ft.x9ft deck with stairs the full length of the deck. It was framed on a double laminate 2x8 beam supported by 3 piles/caps and 2x8 floor joists. In the finishing stages I used matching composite facia and some decking for a corner detail on the house to clean up some areas where there was no stucco due to the old location of the existing deck.

Completed this in stages a while back. Clients of mine asked if I could come in once they lifted their revenue bungalow and poured a foundation under it. Originally this house had a crawl space under it. Once there was temporary heating we installed the basement windows and opened up
The existing subfloor and floor joist space and framed in the new stairwell + landing into the new basement. Once the basement slab was poured we framed the basement floor plan along with bulk heading. The entire main floor also recieved a face lift. Moving an exterior window to centre it with the new stairwell and replacing both exterior doors along with all interior doors. We knocked out a small wall and added a beam to open up the kitchen and family room and replaced all trim and added some wall cap details. It was great to work for two people with with such an honest presence and common ground. They played the roll of G.C and had there stress and string of bad luck with mis fortune along the way but always handled it with a sense of ease and patience. Thanks for allowing me to help you out and I hope you are finally generating some lost revenue in your property once again. 🤙
