P3Architecture Partnership

P3Architecture Partnership Artistry meets functionality meets beauty meets innovation. The best architecture is about all of those things. It is also about people.

We spend most of our lives either inside buildings or surrounded by them. Buildings are where we live, play, study and work. Whether we know it or not, buildings greatly impact our lives. Since the 1950s when our original founder Joseph Pettick designed the distinctive SaskPower building, P3A has been committed to positively impacting people and communities through architecture. Listening, interpr

eting, researching, and communicating are key words that describe our philosophy. Our commitment is to the project and to the people involved along the way. Our attention to detail and collaborative approach make us a leading choice for clients throughout the province. We never default to the ordinary or stop learning, and we explore all the opportunities. We never forget about the people throughout the journey of a project – clients, consultants and contractors - or about the people at the end of a project who will experience walking into a new P3A building. By elevating design and service to our clients, we are creating a legacy of unique architecture for Saskatchewan and for the people who call it home

P3A is pleased to be leading a significant project for the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and the Government of Saskatchewan which involves relocating the RSM’s Research, Exhibits and Collections programs from the historic Annex building to 1660 Park Street.

The previous location was outdated and had little room for expansion, posing significant risk of damage to the collections and operations of the RSM. The new space will accommodate back-of-house operations, academic and scientific research, exhibition design, curation work, procurement and preservation of the Saskatchewan Natural Indigenous history, and the RSM’s collection of 3.5 million artifacts that are not on display.

Currently under construction, the design revitalizes the existing SLGA office and warehouse space into a modern state-of-the-art research and collection facility.

The new Regina Operations and Maintenance Complex (ROMC) brings SaskPower’s Regina‑area teams together in one consolidated location with the goal of supporting more efficient operations and improved access to the service area. Located on approximately 100‑acres of property within the Global Transportation Hub in Regina, the ROMC provides more than 85 acres of exterior storage yard space along with specialized buildings for logistics, fleet services, cold storage, and material staging.

Phase 1 of the project was completed in early 2024 and included five purpose-built facilities including a logistics warehouse, fleet vehicle maintenance building, decontamination building, cold storage and material staging building, and a guardhouse. Phase 2 is currently underway and will provide centralized offices, training spaces, labs, shops, and vehicle storage.

Designed to meet NECB standards and incorporate LEED Silver strategies, the ROMC reflects SaskPower’s commitment to modern, sustainable, and high‑performing infrastructure. The overall design supports efficient vehicle movement, equipment and material access, and long‑term growth, creating a centralized hub for SaskPower’s regional operations.

aodbt is part of the SPRA (Strategic Prairie Regional Alliance) collaborating with P3A on this project.
