Sometimes its the little things that matter.

The customer wanted the brick edging around their flower beds re-leveled, along with one section removed and replaced with fresh soil and new sod. We also filled in a low spot in the yard to improve the grade and overall appearance.

What a fun transformation on this one.

This yard started out with crusher dust throughout the entire property and needed a complete overhaul.

We:

- Re-graded both sides and the backyard
- Installed pea rock along both sides of the house
- Built a 12' × 12' shed pad
- Dug out 6 inches and added 6 inches of new topsoil
- Finished it off with fresh sod
- Re-graded under the front and back deck
- Added a 4x6 boarder and pea rock to finish off an area in the front

From a dusty, unfinished yard to a clean, functional outdoor space that the homeowners can enjoy.

I've been a little quiet on social media lately because we've been incredibly busy, but I wanted to share one of our latest completed projects.

The homeowners had brick edging installed around their flower beds and walkway, but unfortunately they weren't happy with the results. It became clear why. There had been no excavation, no proper base preparation, and only about 2 inches of crusher dust had been used. The brick elevations were inconsistent, everything was out of level, and to top it off, the wrong bricks had been installed.

They brought in Pure Envy Landscaping to tear it all out and rebuild it the right way.

We excavated the entire area, installed and properly compacted 8 inches of base, then reinstalled the brick edging exactly how the homeowners wanted it. Proper preparation below the surface is what keeps brick edging looking great and performing well for years to come.

This project definitely had its challenges, but we're extremely happy with the finished result—and even happier that the homeowners now have exactly what they were hoping for.

Another happy customer! 👏

The black lava rock in this yard was creating a constant mess, finding its way onto the artificial turf, sidewalk, and driveway. The homeowner wanted something a little larger and heavier that would stay in place while still looking great.

We replaced it with decorative crushed rock, giving the landscape a clean, fresh look without breaking the budget. We also removed several dead shrubs from the flower bed and planted 3 Karl Foerster feather reed grass and 4 Blue Fescue, then finished everything off with a fresh layer of cedar mulch.

This was one of those projects that proves you don't always need a complete overhaul to make a huge difference. Sometimes the simpler transformations are the most satisfying. Thanks again for trusting Pure Envy Landscaping with your project!

Another transformation to wrap up the week! This was a really fun one even though it was a lot of hand work. Micro clover in the dirt, and the customer is slowly going to gather more big rocks to accent the clover patches.
