When you hire Rugged Property Care you actually get your work completed. We were granted a couple new condominiums this year and while doing cleanups we noticed years of build up under trees and bushes. Businesses like to hire these bigger companies, then end up finding out they dont complete half the jobs that are under contract.
The pictures provided is build up from years of neglect. Hold your contractors accountable!

Hello everyone.

Just wanted to reach out to everyone about aeration and dethatching. While out working the last few days and from social media we've noticed some companies are out providing these services for customers.

Please be careful when hiring your contractors. Its still not ideal soil temperatures with the late spring we've had. The last snow storm and cold temperatures we received in mid April has pushed us back a couple extra weeks.

If you aerate or dethatch now:
You’ll stress or damage the turf.
Roots won’t recover properly.
And you can actually set the lawn back instead of helping it.

Soil temperatures should consistently be 10c-15c.
If your lawn is still yellow it means its still dormant and most likely not ready. Typically you should be able to mow your lawn once or twice before aerating and dethatching.

Have a great rest of your week.
