Sometimes to fix a issue it can need a whole system alterations

Original call, low airflow in house, except the back end
- AC system constant freeze up
- only one return in house on main floor
- second floor and third has no returns
- 110k Btuh furnace and 3.5 ton ac (always freezing up)

Repairs
- new returns on all 3 floors
- new supply air duct to unventilated spaces

Heating season is almost here, now will be a good time for maintenance of your heating system to prevent mid season breakdowns

Hey everyone

A little change of pace this time commercial unit but same issue

Called in for no cool on daiken unit
- unit tripped on high pressure
- due to lack of MAINTENANCE
- got that done, unit is up and customer is happy

Resident or commercial maintenance is always important

Hey everyone

Called in by a new owner for AC not running
- Turns out there was no AC
- Installed new system and Started it

During testing Found airflow issues
- inspected blower and look at that
- it was like 2 pelts stuck in it

When you buy a house call a HVAC TECH TO INSPECT the system

been to allot of houses owners moved in
- system looks clean from outside but inside it’s rusted
- leaking condensation
- covered in dust

Original call R22 system
- AC keep tripping the breaker

What I found
- compressor was shorted to ground

A new AC system

Look at the comparison of both units
- both 2 ton units
- newer had more coil to better remove heat, way better efficiency

- AC not keeping up the set temp on thermostat
- AC running for long time

What I found is clear
- fully blocked condenser unit
- very high pressures due to blocked condenser

Hey everyone

Original call = customer said AC is running, but running for very long time and not cooling like before

What I found
- first, asked her when was the maintenance done on it (more than 3 years)
- looked at the evap coil and condenser unit (completely plugged)
- did the maintenance first, ac is dropping temp by 20f (perfect)
- probed up on the unit, found system being very overcharged
- recovered the extra refrigerant and unit running good

Now to everyone who waits for breakdowns and skip maintenance (you are asking for trouble guys)

It won’t always be me coming out, doing maintenance for your system and AC is up

In some cases it’s
- a failed part (replaced that)
- doing maintenance (so I won’t be guessing anything, when I give the final answer)
- once unit is up (finding out unit has lost it ability to compress properly, running on last breath)
- resulting in a replacement in future or now
- Whatever the customer decides

Hope everyone doing fine
Busy busy weeks after the heat we saw ☀️

Now

Some of us found out there ACs aren’t working when heat finally hit

Some I was able to repair some needed to be replaced
(Want to mention, I don’t just say replace if I see a R22 system, they are repairable MOST CASES)

SADLY THIS ISN’T ONE OF THEM

- R22 system under a low deck
- not enough space to remove heat from system
- compressor died and evap flooded with oil no heat absorption
- asked the same old question, when was the last time it had maintenance done 🤷‍♂️

Replacement
- new line set from outside due to finished basement
- located new unit on a better space for easy airflow
- new aluminum evap coil

This was one of those units that was neglected unit, stoped working
So call for maintenance, don’t wait for breakdowns

Another why Maintenance is important post

We just saw a glance of summer ☀️, some of us who test run there AC found out it doesn’t work properly or at all

Now this call was scheduled maintenance, so I was there before any damage occurred

However, what I found
- filter was plugged
- blower was dirty
- capacitor was weak (working but weak, replaced that)

Down to business = Maintenance
- cleaned condenser and evap coil with chemical flush
- Cleaned and tested electrical components (capacitor turn out weak)
- blower cleanup
- ran the unit checked temps, it was running properly

If they had run the AC during summer, it would have been a diagnose and repair call
- some parts might have failed and caused other to go bad

So MAINTENANCE, its is way cheaper than a new system
