Sometimes, in the middle of a chaotic emergency, the best of humanity shows up when you least expect it.
The other day, a local family was loading a dirt bike onto the back of their truck. In a split second, a freak accident happened—the throttle was accidentally hit, and the bike took off, severely severing the son’s thumb.
With blood everywhere and panic setting in, the parents did exactly what any terrified family would do: they dropped everything, jumped in the car, and rushed straight to the hospital. In the scramble, the dirt bike was left lying on the ground, and the garage door was left wide open.
That’s when Tyven, who was working nearby, noticed the chaotic scene and the open garage. He took it upon himself to help. Tyven wheeled the dirt bike safely inside, shut the garage door, and left a note for the family so they’d know their home and bike were secure.
It’s easy to focus on the scary moments, but acts of kindness like this deserve to be shared. In a moment of absolute panic for this family, Tyven stepped up while on the job, looked out for his community, and showed what a class act he is.
