THROWBACK THURSDAY | MARCH–MAY 2000
Wait… Budal used to build houses?
Yep. (Todd is in one of the photos to prove it!)

Long before the restaurants, retail spaces and commercial projects you see from us today, Budal Construction was building homes right here in Central Alberta.

This one was built in Kentwood in Red Deer in the spring of 2000.
From foundation and framing to the finished exterior, and finally, a look at the same home today, 26 years later.
We’ve changed a little since then.
So has the logo. 😏

But building things that last? That part hasn’t changed.

Built by Budal. Then and now.

We work with many franchises across Canada, and sometimes we get pictures sent by our crews like these.

On our way to beautiful Revelstoke BC, look at those views!!

Our painter Carsten gives the finished product his seal of approval, and even names his own sandwich!

The new Jersey Mike’s in Red Deer recently opened, just minutes from Budal’s own shop and office.

Our team was proud to help bring this location to life, and we’re currently working on several more Jersey Mike’s locations across Western Canada.

Thanks to Jersey Mike's Subs Canada for trusting Budal with another build.

Congratulations to Julie on receiving her TEN for 10 Award!

Julie started with Budal in 2016 in our woodwork shop, and over the past 10 years she has worked her way up into the role of Shop Manager.

Her handiwork can be seen in restaurants, franchises, and commercial spaces all across Western Canada. From custom millwork to the details that help bring a space together, Julie has been part of countless projects that carry the Budal standard.

That kind of growth comes from skill, hard work, reliability, and pride in the finished product.

Julie, thank you for 10 years of dedication to Budal Construction Group. We’re proud to have you as part of our team and grateful for everything you bring to the shop, our projects, and our crew.

Congratulations, Julie .... 10 years strong! 🎉
