For the last couple months I have been involved in a couple different exterior aspects of this Wendy's project, such as doing the Tyvek wrap all by myself, and building a cinder block wall on dumpster pad. But a couple weeks ago I landed the paint, tile and millwork contract for the interior! It has not been an easy road, but I am doing my best and bringing in some local talent to help push through to the end.

***update. 01/20/25
It's with a heavy heart that I had to leave this project before I could finish due to a less than competent project manager. Not only was he quite disrespectful, he was trying to make me pay for materials such as tile and metal edging that was shorted by their company. The project was over a month behind, but his lack of management experience made my days very stressful and uncomfortable. I am upset because I am not a quitter, but my well being and mental health are way more important than money at this point in my life.

Just thought I would share some of what I have been working on. I picked up a massive winter long tile setting project with The Sandman Hotel and Northland Properties. Until the first group of bathrooms are ready they had me finishing off the pool and hot tub since the previous guy flaked out on them, as well as one of the starwell exits. It's been decent so far.

Well it has been quite the summer! Spent a lot of time in the bush with Charlotte trying to get the mining business up and running. But it seems that this business is in need of some serious expansion over the winter, so I will put it out there that we are hiring!

Are you a well rounded, energetic and reliable flooring installer? Hardwood, Laminate, Vynil and Tile? If you work well with others and really want a career in this industry, I can train you. With 25 years experience, I want to pass down my knowledge to someone who will become a master one day too.

It has been a long journey from when I started this project. Thanks to Bruce Bell Excavating for stripping the lawn and pulling a boulder I uncovered and placing it.

So close to the finish line, looks like next week it will be finally complete. That pile of rocks I hand collected from another site, along with some from the customer. The walkway blocks are original to the house spelling "Allison", who was the first owner, which Bruce Bell moved from original place, then I actually hand placed them back in their new location, soooooo heavy!!! The field of rocks was put down one wheelbarrow at a time and I am very proud of the results. It's a showcase of the unique types of geology in the Cariboo, I including a massive water feature that mimics almost every creek out here. Enjoy!!!

Its been a while since I posted any of my work here. Currently in the middle of a double deck project and a landscaping project. When a hockey buddy called me up and asks to help him install some flooring, I managed to squeeze him in. Turned out really beautiful for a second hand engineered click together hardwood floor.

So happy with how this basement suite reno turned out.....the icing on the cake would be the beautiful backsplash!
