Four weeks. That’s the difference between freshly sprayed hydroseed and the lawn you see here.

The middle stage is the part people don’t always show. At first, growth came in unevenly, with the sunnier areas filling out faster while the sections beneath the trees stayed noticeably thinner. We kept watching it, the homeowner kept up with the watering, and then the lawn took off.

By week four, the yard had filled in dramatically and was already thick enough for its first mow.

Hydroseeding takes a little patience, but when the site is prepared properly and the watering is consistent, the results can speak pretty loudly for themselves.
