📢 Back-to-School Road Safety Reminder

As Lach Klan School welcomes students back for the 2026–27 school year, we kindly remind all community members to drive with extra care and attention. The safety of our children is everyone’s responsibility.

🚦 Speed Limits:
• 30 km/h within the community
• 20 km/h in designated school zones from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on school days, regardless of whether children are present

• Give yourself extra time during school hours to avoid rushing.

🚸 Road Safety & Precautions:
• Be alert for children walking, biking, or crossing the road.
❗Always stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing❗
• Avoid distractions, such as using a cell phone while driving.
• Slow down near crosswalks, playgrounds, and bus stops.

Let’s work together to ensure our students have a safe and positive school year. 🎒

Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe! ❤️
