Call me strange, but building these braces is just so dang satisfying.

Ten years ago, when I started Crossfence Contracting,  I always dreamed that one day I would be able to build New Zealand style fence.  Pages like NZ Fencing and random Kiwi fence building YouTube videos got me super fired up. 

2017, the year after I started out, BC burnt.  Since then, it has been hair straight back, rebuilding countess kilometers of burnt forestry and highway spec barbed wire fences.

Ten years later, it seems like a dream working on this ranch.  I finally have the opportunity to build the style of fence I always wanted to, in rolling green grassy fields, and come home to my family every night.

So very grateful for the good things in life the August long weekend 🙏🇨🇦

And to everyone down in the Cariboo and south facing off against serious wildfires again, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
