At Sibola, we understand that maximizing log values starts with the individual faller and we will work with each customer to ensure that maximum value is derived from every log. Our supervisors ensure that each faller understands and follows the specifications with a system of general inspections, weekly audits and crew meetings. We also collaborate with our clients to make certain that our falling is planned and laid out to ensure yarding and production efficiency.

BC Timber Sales (BCTS) and the Nanwakolas Council have provided a large western red cedar log to Carihi Secondary School to be used by students and staff to carve a traditional canoe under the guidance of Indigenous students, artists and Elders.

As our last camp finishes up operations for 2017 today, I'd like to wish all of our team a very Merry Christmas. I hope you all enjoy the time to spend with your family and friends and all the season brings.

I'd also like to thank you all for your hard work and dedication this past year. We had a safe and prosperous year. Here's to a safe and even better 2018 for us all!

Sibola is very pleased to announce the first recipient of our annual scholarship. Congratulations to Viktoria Seemannova, daughter of Juraj, one of the members of our Leadership team! Viktoria is currently in the final year of the Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing program at UVIC. We are very happy to help Viktoria achieve her goals and wish her nothing but success and fulfilment in her chosen career!

Looks like the Coast is firing back up again hot and heavy! We're sending guys into Scott Cove for conventional and heli falling this coming week. At the same time, we're sending more guys back to Snass as well as Naden again too! Here we go!
