🥰 I am over the moon Excited to share with you all that Jeremy's Legacy Picknick table has been put in place at Cottonwood Island park!!😭🥰🙏❤
This has been a year in the planning with lots of fundraisers and donations!
My friend Jennifer Lussier graciously started the Go Fund Me and acted as the go between for the Go Fund Me, City Hall and me in Prince George since Sept 25th 2023 Thank-you so much Jennifer! 🙏🥰
I held lots of fundraisers to bring this to fruition!
Thanks from the bottom of my heart to EVERYONE who donated to Jeremy's Legacy Picknick table!❤
We couldn't of done it without ALL of you!!!💞
Here is Jeremy's Legacy Picknick table, the Plaque is brand new and in a special place for my boy!
The plaque is on the end facing the river side!
This table is for everyone, it's wheelchair accessible!
The table is at the last parking lot, where Roxy the Snake was!
It's the first table to the right on the path as you head to the old iron train bridge!
Now I need to ask a huge favor................
EVERYONE go visit, say hi to Jer for me, have a Picknick, sit ,relax, enjoy!
Please take photos for me and send them to me!!
I can't wait to visit!!

Hey guys my friend Marcel is looking for help to maintain Roxy the Snake she has come out of hibernation!
☆ Marcel Wickum Some of you may know, but for others, Goodsir Park will be celebrating their 35 anniversary Jun 21 2024. I am looking for volunteers to help out cleaning and setting Roxy the snake back in line. Bring a small wisk or corn broom for sweeping. I will be there Thurs. After lunch. Any time is fine as well. Just advise Jim when you get there what you're up to. Would like very much to have this complete before the anniversary date. Thank to all in advance.

A lifelong nature enthusiast, Jim Good has been sharing his passion for botany with Prince George residents and visitors to the region for the past 35 years.

On May 31, the founder of Goodsir Nature Park will receive an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Northern British Columbia during the 2024 Convocation ceremony in recognition of his community-building efforts.

In realizing his childhood dream to build a botanical park, Good has established an educational hub for the Prince George region, generating interest in the importance of biodiversity, enhancing the local knowledge base and creating a legacy for future generations.
