Support for Killoren & Boardwalk Fire Families
Early Thursday morning, dozens of Prince George families lost their homes in the Killoren Crescent / Boardwalk apartment fire.
As someone who survived a house fire as a kid, I remember what it felt like... the shock, the waiting, the uncertainty. When my family went through it, people in Salmon Valley gave us clothes, food, and a place to stay until insurance finally came through. That kind of care changes everything.
Now it’s someone else’s turn to experience that same kind of care and it’s our chance to be the ones who show up.
We’ve launched a GoFundMe to support the families affected to help with housing, essentials, and unmet needs in the weeks ahead.

Armoured Electrical & Fire Safety Ltd. is pledging a portion of our profits this month, and we’re calling on other local business owners to step up with us.

- How the funds will be used:
100% of donations will go directly to verified residents who:
Lived in units that were damaged or destroyed
Have been displaced and are facing financial hardship as a result
We’re working with local emergency teams to confirm residency and displacement. Funds will be distributed thoughtfully and responsibly - with a focus on those most affected and unable to return home.
