Hi everyone,
We are currently looking for a Company-Wide Swamper (CWS) for the 2025 planting season.
CWSs go between camps and projects adding much needed logistical support for our more challenging contracts. They work with Project Coordinators and Camp Supervisors and end up performing all types of duties, from tree running, to scouting areas, building ATV/UTV access, sending/receiving heli-slings, helping with planter management, checking trees, and so on.
Solid candidates have experience in bush management roles, with past crew leaders often being the best fit.
Compensation is structured as a day rate (based on experience) and CWSs do not pay camp costs. You get your own truck and periodically have an ATV and chainsaw assigned to you.
Our season will start in early/mid April and will end around early-mid August. The majority of the work will be in North-Central Alberta.
Bush driver, chainsaw, and ATV operation training is required.
