For some reason Costco has abandoned the lowest price bring the customers in policy over the past several weeks!
It was becoming a pain for months before as well as I would bring multiple vehicles to gas up the same day and get 3 to 5 changes in price as they tried to price match a BCR site service station.
The answer it's seems is just set the price it in the middle zone.
It's sad to see and has made my crew go elsewhere do to this decision which also means we go elsewhere for lunch breaks, product de icer, shovels, shoe spikes etc.
They have always used the gas as a draw almost a lost leader which was a great draw for many of us.
With the change I've talked to several other small business owners that have to chase the lowest price gas to keep afloat. It also effects the cash back amounts we depend on.
I truly hope this is a small hiccup as I love Costco and its staff and purchase numerous items there.
