So after 28 hrs of sanding and still another several days to get down to bare wood the customer decided to go back to a painted railing. A great home at the lake for sale, come check it out. Chante Lake is only 25 min from Prince Albert on the Hwy 11. The lake is 1.5 miles long, 1/2 mile wide and 22ft deep. Small enough but big enough to do so your water sports. This is a lake front property that is nestled in the Neisbet forest and you have access to cross country ski trails, quaking trails, skidoo trails and yes the lake has fish. Like and pass it on.

Why does it cost more to restore that it does for new builds, you watch a YouTube video that’s 30 min long and you see from start to finish so why is it going to take so long and cost so much. Just one of these little nubs on a spindle takes 15 min to get it in right shape & on every single you have 5 nubs, and you have 35 spindles. That is 18.5 Hr of straight sanding, this does not include the base or the top of the spindle not the post or rails. Restoration will always take longer but I’m the end you will have a beautiful eye piece, you will have recycled a product that was not ready to be thrown out and you will be happy with your choice. When you choose to paint your house and you want to have a professional cut-in, it really helps to have a good quality brush. If you ask 10 painters what brush they use, you will get 10 answers. We love the Zachary brushes. There just soft enough but still firm enough to give you awesome cut-in, it does not lose bristles like a cheap brush but it’s 1/2 the price of a more expensive brand. There durable enough that if you treat it right you can get several months out of one brush. Next time your looking to do a paint job consider picking up a good quality brush that will last you the whole paint job and a lot longer & will leave you with a great cut-in.
