Luxury vinyl plank flooring- heat moulded the stair nosings in house so there was no cut, mitred corners. Just seamless stair nosings.

Had to redo a chimney crown and cap. Poured the chimney crown with a chamfer strip on the underside so future water runoff won’t erode the brick and mortar. Used a pre cast concrete chimney crown to maintain the character of the chimney and home.

The foyer broken and out dated tile was replaced with vinyl tiles. The same tiles were installed in the kitchen and bathroom to replace dated vinyl. The fireplace got a facelift and the hearth was built up and topped with a slab of quartz.

Kitchen remodel: replaced open pantry shelving with custom soft close drawers, replaced linoleum flooring with vinyl tiles, replaced a couple of water damaged cabinets, the above fridge cabinet was replaced by a more functional full depth cabinet, the cabinet doors were upgraded to soft close hinges and the laminate countertops were replaced with quartz countertops which included a new faucet and undermount sink.

The clients had a top mount aluminum railing that had compromised the wood railing wall cap beneath. Top mount railings are a poor choice for a fastening method due to the fact that over time, gravity will cause water to pe*****te the structure below.
I was asked to maintain the loom and style as best as I could so I had custom fascia mount brackets made by West Wind Fabrication here in Powell River of which the old aluminum railing verticals fit into perfectly. I replaced the wood wall cap with custom aluminum coping flashing. I was happy to be able to reuse the old railings and save the clients from having to purchase new ones.

This was an unfinished laundry room of a client who wanted a laundry room sink cabinet worked into this space to the right of their washer and dryer. It took some precision fitting to work the pre finished birch cabinet box around the ducting and plumbing lines. To unify the cabinet addition to the room, a gable was built and installed between the washer and dryer as well as perimeter support for a quartz countertop slab.
