The Bailey’s were proud to attend the Flin Flon Bombers’ 100th Anniversary Celebration, featuring the SJHL Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and a celebration of the 1992–93 SJHL Championship team. A special evening celebrating 100 years of Bombers hockey, and community. Special congratulations to former head coach Mike Reagan, on his induction into the SJHL hall of fame. We were also thrilled to meet Leah Hextall, who hosted the evening’s festivities. Congratulations to the Flin Flon Bombers on this incredible milestone!

You may have seen this big beauty moving down the road last week. And yes it’s 94’ long and moved with the attached garage! What a beautiful home for this rural Manitoba lot! Awesome design on this one Sharon!

There will be a meeting for anyone struggling with Wawanesa Insurance Saturday June 20 @ 4 pm at New Horizons in Denare beach.

Please share with anyone struggling with Wawanesa.

I have been getting calls from people who Wawanesa have told them that they didn’t get any bids for their rebuild when the family requested Bailey Homes submit a bid for their rebuild.

I am finding that we in fact have submitted bids dating back to January yet people have heard nothing regarding moving their file forward. If you are wondering if we submitted a bid for your rebuild please reach out and I’ll send you a copy of the bid we submitted for your rebuild.

Shout out to the Bailey Industrial guys. They are working on removing and rebuilding a hydraulic dock leveller. They will repair the concrete before reinstalling the leveller and the rail airbag. Great job guys

There will be a meeting Saturday June 20 @ 4 pm at the New Horizons in Denare Beach open to any families who find themselves backed into a corner feeling their insurance company is dictating who their builder will be and at rebuild number far less than the reputable builders who submitted legitimate bids. Also if you have not heard from insurance regarding a rebuild number they are likely sitting on the bids while they look for partner builders to jump on board at a cut rate. Any builders in the area who have clients that are in this situation please bring them out. If anyone has any questions at all or would like to chat privately please email me.

Thanks everyone and have a great weekend

Good Saturday Morning. After meeting with a number of families this week and chatting with another contractor who has clients in the same mess with Wawanesa. It’s time to discuss whether the families involved in this mess would like to get together for a group meeting to discuss options and next steps. I’m happy to host this if there is interest in it. Don’t feel pressured it will be a laid back get together to share and listen. There’s no pressure to share anything private and I think if we get the main points out there they will cover the majority of the groups concerns as you seem to share the same main points. So if you’re in this situation and we have chatted or if we haven’t yet please reach out to me and we will get something set up.
