Just when you thought the Shop Dog Series was over — here we go again!!!
🐾 Shop Dog for a Day!
❤️ Olmsted — our newest (very temporary) member of the Norfolk Electric team
Meet Olmsted ❤️
Position: Temporary Head of Security 👮🐾
Years on the Job: 1 day 😂
This lucky doggo got to spend one day as an honourary shop dog this week while his mom (who also happens to be Kate’s mom) had business in the area! He joined his family about nine months ago, and is proud to be a newly minted Canadian, eh 😉🇨🇦
Although Olmsted may only have one day of seniority at Norfolk Electric, at just 3 years old, he’s already built quite the résumé ⬇️
🦮 Guide Dog Trainee — bred and trained in the U.S. to become a guide dog, but his big bark and reactive nature ultimately meant this wasn’t the career for him!
🏊 Pool Dog — his current gig is helping his mom while she services pools. He seems to enjoy exploring and protecting random backyards!
⚡️Shop Dog — his newest position, which he took VERY seriously. Olmsted immediately began patrolling the yard and loudly announcing anyone who dared enter… including Dave 😂
Despite the intimidating German Shepherd bark, Olmsted is a big friendly goof who loves kids, gives sloppy kisses, shadows his people everywhere and is completely obsessed with balls 🎾 He’s also very smart and knows a pile of commands from his guide-dog training… whether he chooses to follow them is apparently another matter 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks for putting in a shift, Olmsted. You’re welcome back anytime — the shop has never been more secure 🐾⚡
