Kawartha Conservation has extended the Flood Warning - Lake Shoreline Notice for shoreline areas within the Kawartha Conservation watershed through April 27.

This applies to:

• Balsam Lake
• Cameron Lake
• Sturgeon Lake
• Pigeon Lake
• Lake Scugog
• Crystal Lake

Water levels across the watershed remain elevated due to continued inflows from the Burnt River and Gull River, along with ongoing water management through the Trent-Severn Waterway.

Important: This notice applies to shoreline areas within the Kawartha Conservation watershed, which are different than municipal boundaries.

What you need to know:

• Shoreline flooding remains possible, especially in low-lying areas
• Avoid fast-moving water and unstable banks
• Keep children and pets away from water
• Recreational users should stay off waterways

Kawartha Conservation continues to monitor conditions closely with partner agencies.
