Off the easel today. This painting shows the kind of place that gives me calm when I need it. Everyone that came in today seemed to relate to it. Everyone knew a place just like it. It was my first woods scene but will definitely not be my last.

** Update**. Life throws curveballs. I am in the studio now but please excuse my sporadic hours today. I may be in and out throughout the day.

We will hope for the regular Saturday hours of 1-9 tomorrow.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Seaside Studio may be closed today. If I am able to open later, I’ll post an additional message. I hope to see you tomorrow.

Worldwide Knit in Public Day 2026
JUNE 13, 2026 1-3pm at The Seaside Studio (weather permitting).

Every year on the second Saturday in June, knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, and fibre artists take their projects out into the world for Worldwide Knit in Public Day.

For one day, fibre artists gather in parks, cafés, libraries, breweries to do exactly what they would normally do at home.. make things. The difference is that this time we’re doing it where people can see us. Weather permitting, a group of ladies will be joining me at the waterfront to participate! Pop by and see what they are working on if you are in the area 🧶🧶🧶
