Yellow cedar is TOUGH to cut compared to other trees in the neighborhood. There has got to be a set and hook solution out there but I don’t think I’ve found it yet

SilvaFor Contracting is a family buisness based in Port Hardy BC. SilvaFor Contracting is serving the the Tri Port area with equipment rentals and portable sawmill services.

SilvaFor has available for rent a Kubota U17 HGS mini excavator and a SureTrac 10,000lb dump trailer which is perfect for any contractor or do it yourselfer. When it comes to moving material around your jobsite or home, this small but mighty machine will make light work of a tough job. Track width narrows to less than 3’ wide for fitting through tight spaces This excavator is perfect for installing drains, leveling yards, replacing walk ways, drive ways or developing gardens. The dump trailer is a convenient way to remove debris or nimbly move materials around your project site.

SilvaFor also has a Woodmizer LT40HD portable sawmill and would love to assist you with turning your logs into something a little more valuable than firewood. This mill can easily be transported to your property and cut logs up to 20’ long.
