This has been my personal project I have had on the go since last year. I built an addition onto my house to give us another master with a 3 piece. I wrapped up the outside just in time before the snow fall.

Electrical final has been done and passed. Last on the list is the bathroom. Transom window above a floating vanity with a pitched 11 foot ceiling with a nice size niche box.

I designed and did all the work myself. When asked why don’t you get someone or find someone to do it for you. I ask myself why can’t I just do it?

Had another chance of repair someone else’s drywall repair work. Unsure what process was followed but I was asked if I could fix it.

I cut out a slightly larger piece of drywall. Cut out and back buttered
the new piece with backing to support the drywall from going in to far.

Came back a few times to sand and skim coat. Apply a coat of sealer which is important with fresh drywall. Primed and painted.

After a water line leak inside the wall could leave damage around the surrounding drywall.

Nothing that a back buttering piece of drywall couldn’t fix. Mud and primed ready for paint.

Change of season means change your filter. Even with you fan running continuously dust buildups inside the filter.

Framed and boarded up a wall for a electric fireplace. Will look great once the tile work is done.

Have a leaking corner?

I removed the debris around the leaking area.

Wiped down and vacuumed before applying leak seal tape and spray.

Time will tell if it will hold.

A personal project of mine that I thought was worth sharing.

Palmed sanded before doing two coats of stain and two coats of clear finish. Very happy with the results.
