FENCING
As aesthetically pleasing as cedar “Board and Rail” fences are, they have one failure.
The posts rot of at ground level, while the remainder of the fence is still in great shape!Irrespective of whether they are set in concrete or not, the the fence simply fails!

In order to mitigate this issue , and to add both longevity, and ease of maintenance, we now utilize a system that is far superior.

Extra-Heavy duty, hot dip galvanized, extended saddles!
Set solidly in concrete, with a double bolt attachment, they are extremely secure and keep the post bottom out of the moisture.

Additionally, we treat the bottom of the post with a bituminous mastic that waterproofs and prevents premature “fungal decay.

We also only use galvanized fasteners!
