We Are Family Owned & Operated with Over 125 Years Experience. With the help of many framing crews, we are able to accommodate a number of projects at any one time. Our crews work quickly and efficiently to fulfill all of your framing needs. Our in house design team will work with you to enhance your project by integrating timber frame into your design. All of our timber frame projects are pre-cut

and honed in our shop and then assembled on site. With the recent purchase of our new shop in Port Carling we bring a whole new aspect to our company. We are now able to offer the contractors in the area as well as the general public an array of specialty wood products including louvers, stairs and rails and custom made hand planed solid wood doors in a number of designs.

From Lawrence Cutting, who founded Cutting Bros, to his son Keevin, who leads the company today — and now the kids and grandkids getting their own tour.

There’s something pretty incredible about three generations standing together aboard a piece of Muskoka history that Cutting Bros has had the privilege of helping restore.

The restoration of the RMS Segwun is well underway, with our crew working to preserve the craftsmanship and character of this iconic piece of Muskoka history.

Another exciting project getting underway. 👊

We were on site today pre-scoping everything before framing begins next week. The foundation is complete, and we’re always happy to build on top of work by The Muskoka Stone Co. . Their attention to detail and quality make for a great start to every project.

Looking forward to bringing this one to life. Stay tuned as the framing begins!

A project we’re proud to have been a part of.

This custom spanish cedar bench was handcrafted and installed by the Cutting Bros Inc. team as part of the beautiful Windermere Village revitalization.

It’s always rewarding to build something that will become part of the community for years to come—a place to sit, gather, and enjoy one of Muskoka’s most iconic villages.

If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by today for the Windermere Village Playground Grand Opening at 4:00 PM. We hope you’ll take a seat and enjoy everything this great community has to offer!
