So this year I have been obsessed with growing my own medicine cabinet and ritual box (no regrets). All kinds of neat things!

I have planted up enough Mullien for myself and have a bunch left over. Anyone interested in some first year plants?

Also, the next round of Basil is almost ready, for those of you who missed out on the last round.

Hubby and I got to spend the whole day with our bees yesterday! It's been a very busy spring with these ladies as the apiary continues to grow. Managing swarm and mating season is no joke as we try to keep everyone happy and safe. We have had weeks of stewarding virgin queens, building comb and constant monitoring of the hives.

Happy to report everyone is happy and foraging away. Keep up the good work ladies!

It's a wrap! Had the privilege of visiting the community of Laxgalts'ap this past week and enjoying that beautiful part of the world!!

We spent the week in community facilitating some workshops and going over some of the foundational concepts of growing organic food and urban farming. A few of the wonderful humans involved in developing the new community garden in the village joined us to hone their skills, learn some new techniques to maximize and extend their growing season. It only takes a few open minds to create change and we were so excited to support them on their growing journey.

Hey North Island!! Here is our summer IPM (Integrated Pest Management) list!!

There have been several sightings of the Eastern Tent Caterpillar in our communities so I have added products for managing that as well as some other organic products and organic fertilizers to meet a need. Check it out and let me know if you have any questions!

Ladybugs are expected to ship early July. Order deadline is end of day June 21st!

Good morning from Laxgalts'ap! Amy and I spent the weekend traveling up to and exploring the Nisga'a Territory in Northern BC.
We found a lovely (and lively) farmer's market in Terrace, then we took our time on the winding mountain roads, stopping to take in the scenery. We stood in awe of the ancient lava beds, searched for waterfalls and had a picnic lunch by the ocean. We visited some local hotsprings yesterday which was such a neat experience.

Today we start our week long workshops "Growing Organic Food and Healthy Soil" with the community. We will be focusing on foundational gardening concepts, urban farming techniques, building healthy soil and other organic practices in their new community garden and one of our Zoff's Greenhouses, previously installed last season by Todd (thanks Honey!)

We are honoured to be here and excited to get started!
