Out with the old and in with the new! 🧱🐾

Another Allan Block retaining wall installation completed by Black Dog at the Chapel of Memories in Port Alberni!

This project started with the removal of the old stone retaining walls that were cracking, deteriorating and beginning to fail. From there, we stripped everything back, prepared the base, installed proper drainage and rebuilt the area with a brand-new Allan Block retaining wall system.

The finished product gives the property a cleaner, stronger and much more modern look, while providing a properly constructed retaining system built for long-term service.

A big transformation from where this project started!

Landscape project completed. Stumps removed. Garbage and debris cleaned up. Old fence removed. Hedges trimmed. Lawn graded and seeded. New fence installed. Garden ties installed to retain gardens. Gravel spread to clean up city boulevard. Curb appeal approved!
