Certificate of Recognition (COR) audit day at Calanah — our safety program went under review this week, with interviews at our Ponoka office and out at the Fire Hall 23 job site. It went smoothly, our HSE team is the best!

COR audits are part of how we keep our safety program honest, not just paperwork we do once a year.

Before a single crew member steps onto a new jobsite, our safety team is already at work. With several new projects gearing up to start this month, we're finalizing site-specific safety plans, contractor onboarding, and muster points — worker safety is a priority at Calanah and that planning is part of every job startup.

On the newly finished Ponoka Family Chiropractic clinic right here in Ponoka, the project architect's final review noted our workmanship as "of a high standard and well-executed throughout."

Nothing means more than hearing the work holds up to a professional's eye — and getting to help a local business open the doors on a great new space. Congratulations to the PFC team!

Calanah Builders has been awarded the facility upgrades at Red Deer County's Fire Station 23 in Red Deer.

The the crew was on-site starting Monday — demolition complete and concrete work already underway.

Fire halls run around the clock. The crews who staff them deserve facilities that improve safety and support their health. We're glad to be contributing to that for Red Deer County.

Q2 safety meeting is on the calendar for this Monday.

Every quarter, the Calanah Builders team gathers to walk through jobsite hazards, review procedures, and make sure our safety practices are sharp. Safe sites don't happen by chance — they take consistent attention and a team that takes it seriously.

Proud to be back at the Ponoka Stampede, supporting our hometown swim club! 🤠🏊

Calanah Builders is once again donating the use of one of our trailers to the Ponoka Pool Sharks for their food booth fundraiser at the Stampede. It's a small way to help a great local club keep doing what they do for the kids in our community — and we're glad to pitch in again this year.
