WINTER ROOF RUSH IS ON. ❄️🔨
We're still on the roofs — but the type of calls are about to change.
Once Montreal starts getting freeze/thaw cycles, snow and ice, the small roofing problems people ignored all summer have a way of showing themselves.
Valleys. Flashings. Eaves. Gutters. Ventilation.

REAL ROOFING. REAL SOLUTIONS. 🔨
The finished shingles are what everyone sees.
This is the work that actually makes the roof.
This week we've been into everything — full SOPREMA Shield underlayment, wood replacement, custom chimney flashing, repairs, gutter guards and ventilation work.
On this roof, we stripped it down and rebuilt the details properly.

WHAT'S UNDER YOUR SHINGLES? 👀
Probably not something most homeowners have ever thought about.

This was our first full ZIP System roof deck — and after actually working with it, I'm impressed.
Instead of treating the plywood as something that's simply there to hold the shingles, we approached the deck as part of the roof system itself

New structural panels.
Taped seams.
Careful detailing around penetrations and the chimney.
Then the roofing system gets installed over top of that.
Once the shingles are on, you'll never see most of this work again.

That's the point.

A lot of the most important work we do disappears underneath the finished roof.

We're always testing materials, systems and better ways of building. Not because something is trendy — because if there's a better way to build a roof for our climate, we want to understand it and know how to install it properly.

You don't see many reroofs around Quebec built like this.

We'll be posting some videos from the installation because this one is worth showing.
The shingles make it look good.

Our regular 2026 roof replacement schedule is full — and we’re already booking 2027 projects.
That doesn’t mean you wait until spring to start thinking about your roof.
If you know it’s getting close, get ahead of it.
We can inspect the existing system, identify the weak points, build the right scope of work, and get your project lined up before the spring rush starts.
And if the roof still has life left in it?
Maybe the smarter conversation is solar. ☀️
We currently have room for solar projects, and combining the roof assessment with the solar planning means we can look at the whole system before panels ever go on.
No point installing solar over a roof that’s going to need to come apart shortly afterward.
