I did a Reno on my bathroom for free. I got sick of the old, crappy bathroom vanity, toilet and tiles.
I paid 50 bucks for the toilet and vanity. Tiles were free. Charged landlord 150 bucks for materials like adhesive, caulking and grout.

Scrape, power sand, caulk,
OIL primer for proper adhesion to 100 year old wood. Very porous. (first picture)
Now ready to apply two coats of Dulux Diamond satin acrylic paint. (second picture)
Tomorrow I'm cutting some aluminum strips to fit under the roof drip edge, because a second layer of plywood was put on the roof and the drip edge is too high, causing water to pe*****te the upper trim, which causes wood rot and rusts the nails.
Do it the right way. Not the easy way.

Painting at the local yacht club last fall.
Another month until the outdoor season starts. Still available for any interior work, including floor and trim install,
drywall installation and mudding.
