We’re excited to announce that Matthews Lawn Care & Snow Removal is now accepting bookings for the 2026–2027 snow season!

This year we’ve made some major investments to provide an even better level of service:

🛻 Brand new Boss DXT 8’ Stainless Steel Plow ordered for our 2022 Ram 2500—allowing us to clear driveways faster and more efficiently.

🚜 Our Kubota tractor has been upgraded with a dedicated snow pusher. We’ve retired the bucket, meaning cleaner pushes, faster lot clearing, and improved performance on every visit.

👷 We’ve added a full-time employee to help keep routes running smoothly and ensure dependable service throughout the winter.

⭐ Thanks to our amazing customers, we’ve continued to earn 5-star Google reviews, and we’re proud that so many of last season’s clients have already renewed for another winter with us.

Just trust me this one was a project. Heavy stick removal, leaves buried in the hedges and garden beds, and even gravel scattered through the lawn

This didn’t start a year ago.

I’ve been doing lawn care and odd jobs for about 8 years just on the side, using customer equipment at the beginning.

Eventually bought my first setup… a rough push mower and a curved shaft trimmer. Nothing special, but it got the job done.

Upgraded piece by piece over time. Better mower, better tools, reinvesting as I went.

Last year I made it official and ran it part-time.

This year, we’re full-time.

Now running a full setup truck, trailers, commercial equipment and continuing to grow across Prince Edward County.

Appreciate everyone who’s supported along the way. A lot more coming this season and especially next winter.

This property took a beating over the winter with mud, debris, and heavy traffic buildup throughout the parking and access areas. We came in and handled:

• Full debris and organic cleanup
• Removal of built-up mud and gravel
• Surface leveling and touch-ups

Right before the last major snowstorm I was in a car crash thankfully I walked away okay but it felt like the perfect summary of how wild this season has been. Snow after snow, long nights, equipment stress, and nonstop problem solving. If you’re in this industry, you know it’s survival mode some days.

Through all of it, I’m seriously grateful.

Thank you to every customer especially the new sign-ups for the patience, the support, and the trust. Running a growing business means adapting fast when things go sideways, and you’ve all stuck with me while I level up.

And speaking of leveling up…

We added a new truck to the fleet.

That means next winter we’ll be servicing areas farther out that I had to turn down this season because I didn’t have the equipment yet. If you reached out and I couldn’t help this year I remember you. Next season is different.

We’re expanding. We’re stronger. We’re ready.
