We’ve got a bit of a history with making rooms disappear. 👀

A pantry disguised as cabinetry? Check.
A closet hidden in a wall? Check.

We clearly have a thing for doors you’d walk right past without ever realizing they’re there.

Call it practical. Call it clever. We just think hidden rooms are more fun. 😉

Building into a hill means there’s a lot more to figure out before the first wall goes up.

One of the biggest considerations? Determining how many steps the foundation needs to properly follow the slope of the site.

It takes careful planning, elevations, and a good understanding of how the foundation will work with the existing grade. Every site is different, and getting these details right early on makes a big difference throughout the build.

The technical details might not be what you notice when you walk through the finished home but they’re what make the finished home work.

Turning a silo into a bunkie isn’t exactly an everyday project, and that’s exactly why we loved it!

Set right on the edge of a small pond, this was one of those builds that pushed us to think differently, solve problems creatively, and pay attention to every detail. The end result is a space that feels completely unique to the property and the people who use it.

We’re always up for projects that are a little unconventional. If you’ve got an idea that doesn’t fit into a typical renovation or custom build, we’d love to hear it.

Introducing Project Blackwood.

A new project we’re excited to finally share. Rich materials, clean lines, and carefully considered details define this space. From the kitchen to the fireplace, every element was designed to feel intentional.

Laying 12x24 tile in a brick lay pattern is one of those details that requires real precision. Keeping the lines consistent and the layout balanced throughout the space takes an exceptional amount of skill and planning.

This pattern leaves very little room for error, which is why it takes a highly skilled installer to get the lines, spacing, and layout just right. For our Bethel project, we were able to achieve this thanks to an incredibly talented tiler and a team that cares deeply about the details.

In our custom homes, the small things are never treated as small things. Every material, every layout, and every finish is considered with intention and that’s what makes the final result feel effortless.

Introducing Toscana

This main floor renovation is one of those projects where the quality is in every detail. From the cabinetry and millwork to the finishes and overall ex*****on, this kitchen is a great example of the level of craftsmanship that goes into our renovations.

We’re starting with the kitchen, but there’s a lot more of Toscana to come!

With the stone and brick now installed and the aluminum soffits in place, the vision for our Bethel custom home is becoming a reality. It’s always exciting to reach this stage of a build, where the home’s character starts to shine and you can truly appreciate how all of the exterior materials work together.

There’s still more to come, but seeing the finishes come together like this is a major milestone and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s taking shape.

Some of the best design details are the ones you don’t notice at first.

This custom laundry room is packed with thoughtful features, including a hidden built-in drying rack concealed behind a decorative cabinet door, keeping everyday functionality close at hand without compromising the clean, tailored look of the space.

But did you notice one of our favourite details? The shiplap! We carefully planned and installed the wall and ceiling shiplap so the boards align seamlessly as they transition from one surface to the next. It’s a subtle detail that takes a significant amount of planning and precision, but it’s those finishing touches that elevate a space from beautiful to exceptional.

It’s craftsmanship like this that makes all the difference.
