Darrah Fine Carpentry High quality carpentry located in Peterborough and the surrounding area. My name is Iain Darrah and I am the owner of “Darrah Fine Carpentry”.

We specialize in custom built-ins, furniture and trim work; including crown moulding, baseboard, casing, wainscotting, wall paneling and feature walls. I have been working in the industry for over 20 years and have a wide range of experience. I met my amazing wife Becky in Peterborough in 2001 and after living in different areas of the province we decided to move back to Peterborough and make it our home. We have been living here with our twin girls Isla and Ruby and our goldendoodle Charlie since 2013. A very elegant, modern update to an existing stone fireplace surround with new cabinets, floating shelves and mantle using solid birch and birch plywood with a natural satin finish.

I love how the wood components blend into the stone.
