We’re incredibly excited to bring this premium, 100% Made-in-Ontario outdoor furniture collection to our lineup. Contemporary, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, Affinity offers a fresh take on luxury outdoor living.

Shop Update! 🇨🇦🪑

The chair army is growing.

Today we’ve got four beautiful Cardinal Red Classic Fan-Back Chairs ready to go, built in our Deluxe 1-inch-thick version. They’re substantial, incredibly solid, and have that premium look, feel, and weight that just screams quality. These things are built like tanks and feel every bit as luxurious as they look.

Alongside them are eight Classic Fan-Back Chairs in Black, built with our standard ¾-inch recycled plastic lumber. And let’s be clear — ¾-inch material is the industry standard for a reason. It doesn’t sacrifice durability one bit, but it does make the chairs lighter and easier to move around. They’re still plenty heavy enough that they’re not going to take flight off your dock during a summer windstorm.

If you’re after the ultimate deluxe experience, the 1-inch material is definitely the way to go, although it does come with a higher price point. If you’d prefer to save a few dollars and have a chair that’s easier to reposition around the patio, the standard version remains an excellent choice.

As always, these are handcrafted right here in Peterborough. Thaddeus continues to do an amazing job turning piles of recycled plastic lumber into beautiful outdoor furniture.

🐾 Supporting a Great Cause, One Picnic Table at a Time 🇨🇦

Today we’re loading up part of our rental fleet of picnic tables as they head out on loan to help support the unveiling of the Peterborough Humane Society’s beautiful new Memorial Park. ❤️🐶🐱

These tables are built right here in Ontario using durable recycled plastic planking and powder-coated aluminum frames, designed to stand up to Canadian weather for decades to come.

We’re also incredibly grateful that the Peterborough Humane Society chose Taylors to build their brand-new picnic tables, which are now officially in production. It’s always an honour when local organizations choose local businesses, and we’re proud to play a small role in creating spaces where people can gather, reflect, and celebrate the animals that leave paw prints on our hearts.

If you’re attending the unveiling, be sure to show your support for the amazing work the Humane Society does for animals in our community. 🐾

As always, I’m sitting down on the job.

This time, I’m relaxing in our very own Taylors Upright Muskoka Chair — designed right here in Peterborough by my son Thaddeus and built by my son Thaddeus. I’m just the guy who yaps in the videos, answers emails, sits at the computer, and handles the chaos behind the scenes.

This particular chair is built using our premium 1-inch-thick recycled plastic lumber for the backrest, armrests, and seat slats, paired with hefty 2x4 construction for the legs.

The result?

A chair that feels absolutely rock solid.

Premium look. Premium feel. Premium durability.

It’s heavier than our standard models, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It won’t blow off your dock, disappear in a windstorm, or be easily carried away by someone who suddenly decides they need a new chair.

With its upright seating position, generous armrests, and comfortable height, it’s one of the easiest Muskoka chairs to get in and out of. If you’ve ever struggled with a traditional Adirondack chair, this one was built with you in mind.

Honestly, we’re seriously considering moving more of our in-house product line into this premium 1-inch material because it adds such a substantial, high-end appearance.

Of course, if you prefer something a little lighter and sleeker, we also work with five outstanding Ontario manufacturers offering everything from contemporary designs to timeless classics. Every piece is made from durable, low-maintenance HDPE recycled plastic right here in Ontario.

One chair at a time. One order at a time. One customer at a time.

That’s how we’re building this business.

And yes, I’m incredibly proud of Thaddeus and the work he does here every day. This chair is a reflection of that craftsmanship.

The only problem?

Good luck coming in to see one.

They keep selling out.

Everything we’re building right now is already spoken for before it reaches the showroom floor.
