🎃🧙‍♀️ Thaddeus is having WAY too much fun in the shop this week! 😂

First, he surprised us with his incredible Jack-o’-Lantern chair, and now he’s created a purple witch’s face chair! 💜🎃

Both are built using our handcrafted Deluxe Upright Fan Back design, featuring substantial 1-inch-thick recycled plastic lumber.

And while these Halloween creations are a whole lot of fun, they also demonstrate just how incredibly versatile recycled plastic lumber really is!

✅ No sanding
✅ No staining
✅ No painting or refinishing
✅ Built to withstand the elements
✅ True lifetime workmanship guarantee!

That’s right! Even these spooky creations are built to last for decades upon decades. 👻

At Taylors Outdoor Living, we take our craftsmanship seriously, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun along the way!

Every one of these chairs is handcrafted right here in Peterborough, Ontario, by our very own master builder, Thaddeus.

Fantastic job, Thad! I’m always amazed by your creativity and craftsmanship. Proud dad moment! 👏❤️

Now, here’s where YOU come in…

What should Thaddeus build NEXT? 🤔

A snowman? ☃️ Santa Claus? 🎅 The Grinch? 💚 Something completely outrageous?

Drop your ideas in the comments! We might just build your suggestion!

And come on, give Thad a LIKE for these two creations! 👍

Built with our Deluxe 1-inch recycled plastic lumber, this Halloween creation features bright orange, black, and even a little green stem! 🧡🖤💚

Sometimes you’ve just got to have a little fun in the workshop! 😎

This is what we love about working with recycled plastic lumber. The possibilities are practically endless, and we’re always looking for creative ways to show just how versatile this amazing material can be.

Handcrafted right here in Peterborough, Ontario, by our very own Thaddeus!

⚾️💙 HOW ABOUT THEM BLUE JAYS?! 🇨🇦

Now THIS is a pretty cool custom project!

Today we’re showing a pair of one-of-a-kind, custom-built Toronto Blue Jays TV tables, handcrafted right here in Peterborough for the brand-new Blue Jays room at 72 Bolton Sports Cafe in Bobcaygeon!

Finished in that unmistakable Blue Jays blue, these beauties feature 100% recycled plastic construction, glass tops, and actual televisions built right into the centre of each table! 📺⚾️

That’s right! Imagine sitting down with your buddies, enjoying some nachos, wings, and a cold beverage, and watching the Jays play RIGHT THERE in your table! How cool is that?!

A huge THANK YOU to Adam and everyone at 72 Bolton Sports Cafe for choosing Taylors Outdoor Living for this fantastic project. We love supporting other local businesses, especially when they give us the opportunity to get creative and build something completely different!

And speaking of building things…

My son Thaddeus designed and handcrafted these tables from start to finish, and I think he did an absolutely PHENOMENAL job. 👏

Thad’s the master builder around here. I’m just the guy who stands in front of the camera and yaps about all the cool stuff he makes! 😂

But seriously, I’m incredibly proud of my son, proud of what we’re building together as a family business, and grateful for the customers who trust us to bring their ideas to life.

Projects like this challenge us to think creatively, push the boundaries of what we can do with recycled plastic, and have a whole lot of fun in the process!

From custom furniture to commercial installations, we’re proud to manufacture right here in Peterborough, Ontario, serving wonderful customers in our own backyard and right across Canada. 🇨🇦

So next time you’re in Bobcaygeon, stop by 72 Bolton Sports Cafe, grab some wings, cheer on the Jays, and check out these awesome tables!

🍁 Happy Thanksgiving from Taylors Outdoor Living! 🇨🇦

A little time away from the shop, enjoying the beautiful Toronto skyline with my lovely wife, Julia, as we take the ferry back from Ward’s Island.

What an incredible city. What an incredible country we are blessed to call home. 🇨🇦❤️

Sometimes it’s important to get away from the hustle and bustle of running a business, slow things down, spend time with the people we love, and appreciate just how fortunate we really are.

This Thanksgiving weekend, I’m feeling especially grateful. Grateful for my family, for our health, for the opportunities we’ve been given, for the challenges that help us grow, and for the many blessings in our lives.

Life isn’t always easy, and business certainly has its ups and downs. But when you stop and look around, there’s an awful lot to be thankful for.

We’re blessed to live in a beautiful country, surrounded by good people, with the freedom to work hard, build something meaningful, and pursue our dreams.

And at the end of the day, it’s not about how much we accomplish or how much money we make. It’s about faith, family, love, and the memories we make along the way.

From our family to yours, thank you for supporting our little family business here in Peterborough. We appreciate every single one of you.

God bless, Happy Thanksgiving, and God bless Canada! 🍁🇨🇦

An attitude of gratitude. Always. ❤️

🍁 Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Taylors Outdoor Living! 🇨🇦

As we head into this beautiful Thanksgiving weekend, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of our wonderful customers, friends, family, suppliers and supporters.

We have so much to be thankful for!

We’re grateful for the opportunity to do what we love, to build something meaningful, to grow a family business, and to meet so many fantastic people along the way.

And we’re thankful not just for the successes, but for the challenges, too. For the obstacles we’ve overcome, the lessons we’ve learned, and the hardships that have made us stronger, wiser, and hopefully a little more humble!

Life isn’t always easy, and running a business certainly isn’t either! But every day is a gift, every opportunity is a blessing, and every challenge is another chance to learn and grow.

We’re grateful for God’s grace, for the gift of life, and for the faith that keeps us grounded through both the good times and the difficult ones.

We work hard, we dream big, and yes, we’re striving to build a successful business. But at the end of the day, success isn’t just measured in dollars and cents.

It’s measured in the relationships we build, the love we share, the people we help, and the time we spend with those who matter most.

We’ll be closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to enjoy some much-needed family time, break bread together, share a few laughs, count our blessings, and simply enjoy being together.

From our family to yours, thank you for being part of our journey. Your trust, encouragement, friendship, and support mean more to us than you know.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with love, laughter, good food, gratitude, and the company of those you hold dear.

Happy Thanksgiving, Canada! 🍁❤️

Luxury isn’t just about how something looks. It’s about how it’s made, how it feels, and how long it lasts. 🇨🇦

Introducing the Deluxe Upright Fan-Back Chair.

Designed by Thaddeus Vidler and handcrafted right here in Peterborough, Ontario, this is our interpretation of the ultimate luxury outdoor chair.

Beautifully finished in premium woodgrain, constructed entirely from 1-inch-thick, 100% recycled plastic lumber, and built with an uncompromising commitment to quality.

And the comfort? Absolutely exceptional.

Our unique upright design gives you all the comfort of a traditional Muskoka chair, but with a more natural seating position. Perfect for relaxing by the lake with your morning coffee, enjoying an evening sunset, or sitting comfortably around your outdoor dining table. And getting in and out? Effortless.

Built for beauty. Engineered for comfort. Handcrafted to last a lifetime.

And we stand behind that with our TRUE LIFETIME WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY.

If we built it, we’ll fix it for as long as you own it.

Not that we expect you’ll ever need us to! 😉

Here’s something I’ve always believed:

Buying quality isn’t spending more money. It’s spending your money wisely.

When you invest in something beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable, and built to last for decades upon decades, you’re not just buying furniture. You’re buying lasting value.

No painting. No staining. No rotting. Just years and years of enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

Son: “Cool. What do you do?”

Dad: “Instagram.” 😂

A little family-business humour from the shop today.

The truth is, one of the best parts of Taylors is getting to work alongside my son, Thaddeus. Watching him take so much pride in his craft, develop new designs and build some truly beautiful furniture by hand is pretty special.

There’s a lot of work that goes into a small family business, but there are also a lot of laughs along the way.

We’re proud to be building something together, proud to make our products right here in Peterborough, and incredibly grateful to everyone who supports our little family business.

And yes… occasionally Dad gets the phone out and makes an Instagram Reel. 😂❤️
