A couple months ago, I was honoured to receive the King Charles III Coronation Medal, presented to me by MPP Cheryl Gallant, in recognition of community service and contributions to electrical safety.

I have been fortunate over the years to work on some meaningful projects, like helping build the Electrical Safety Program at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories in Chalk River, and it’s been a real privilege to continue that work through Safeguard Electric.

This medal joins other recognitions I’ve been fortunate to receive, including the Distinguished Merit Award, the 2014 Mayoral Award, and the Nationwide Electrical Safety Champion Award.

These achievements reflect not just my efforts, but the incredible teams I've had the privilege to be part of over the years — and especially my current team here at Safeguard Electric. I’m grateful for all the support from our clients, community, friends, and family.

Just 2.5 weeks ago, I was running my business, and suddenly, here I am, at the end of this unfair snap election called by Doug Fraud so he can remain in power. I stood up for the people of Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke because, deep down, I knew I was the best person to tackle this political corruption head-on. I also knew I had the thick skin to handle the political retaliations that would almost certainly come my way due to my willingness to say the things that needed to be said for the people of this riding. I will never be a yes man, and I can never be bought because my faith will not allow it. I pushed myself beyond anything I’ve ever done before to be a competitive candidate. Friends, new friends, and my immediate family supported me in countless ways! It has been an amazing experience that I’ll never forget, regardless of the outcome. The rest of our story is in God’s hands. :))
