Wilf Hall & Sons Well Drilling - FAQ💧:

How deep will you have to drill & how much water will I get?
- We don’t have an exact answer until we start drilling. Our team is experienced, familiar with the geology, aquifers, and underground water supply in locations we service. Even with all of that knowledge and years of experience we CANNOT guarantee a depth or water supply.

How much will it cost?
- This is determined by a number of factors that include well depth & how much casing is used. Please contact us for more information!

Do you decommission water wells?
- Yes, if there is a well on your property that is not being used, we will abandon/decommission the well for you and submit a record to the ministry.

Do you install pumps for water wells or provide water treatment?
- We do not install pumps or provide water treatment but we are more than happy to give you recommendations on plumbers that can assist you.

How can I access an old well record?

- This is an amazing resource. Input your location and pdf’s of drilled wells in your area are located with blue dot markers.
- Please keep in mind not every well record will be on this website. If you cannot find it on the website and you’re certain Wilf Hall & Sons Well Drilling drilled your well, you can always give us a call and I can do my best to help you out.

When should I call to inquire about having a well drilled?
- As soon as you know you need a well, give us a call! It’s better to call sooner rather than later to ensure you have a spot on our list for the season.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Wilfred Hall, on May 2nd 2026 at the age of 85.

Wilf Hall established the family-owned and operated well drilling company “Wilf Hall & Sons Well Drilling”. Wilf drilled his first well in 1973 & has brought well water to thousands of people in Lanark County & surrounding areas.

Wilf will be remembered for his work ethic, passion and dedication for well drilling, & being quick witted. He will be forever missed by all of us.

Wilf Hall & Sons Well Drilling will be closed for the week (May 4th- May 8th) to allow family and employees time to mourn their loss.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
