One of my mentors often mentions how giving has changed his life and I wanted to see what it would do for me. That was the purpose of our firewood giveaway. We had an abundance of firewood and it's a popular source of heat and comfort for thousands of families, including our own.
Yesterday we loaded up and delivered the last of the firewood we had to give this year. I can truly say that having the ability and the resources to give to families who need and appreciate it is a great feeling.
Thank you again to everyone who reached out and gave a nomination, your nominees are very lucky to have you. To those who commented and shared the giveaway post, you helped this reach the people who need it most. To our clients and friends who've had us over to remove trees, your trees became part of this. To my family who helped review the nominations and make the selections for recipients, your support is everything. This was a huge success. I look forward to doing this again and hope to help even more people next time!
Feeling very grateful,
Devin & the Cobbold Tree Care team
