Since 1933, Betts has been a trusted name in the Okanagan and remains family owned and operated.

Today, Ira Betts' great grandson, Cameron Betts, proudly leads the company as owner and operator. While he doesn't seek the spotlight on him, he deserves it. He cares deeply about his staff, customers, community and continuing the legacy his grandfather started 93 years ago.

From residential and commercial work to service calls and security solutions, we've proudly served our community for nearly a century. The company continues to carry forward Ira Betts' vision through generations of quality workmanship, reliable service, transparency and community commitment.

Meet Allan! 👋

It's hard to believe, but Allan's been here for 20 years!! He brings decades of experience to our service department, helping customers in businesses and homes all across Penticton. We're lucky to have him!

Outside of work, Allan enjoys spending time in the garden - especially deadheading his flowers, he says it's so calming - and frequently catches shows at Many Hats Theatre.

Allan's electrical tip - If you're upgrading to LED bulbs, don't forget to swap out your dimmer switches too! Older dimmers aren't always compatible with LED's and can cause flickering or buzzing.

Meet Clark!

All together now, HI CLARK!

Clark has been with Betts for 2 years as our Security Manager. He's a fully certified Journeyman Electrician and he got into the security side of the industry because of his interest in computers and technology. He oversees both residential and commercial security projects. We asked him what his favourite security product was and he said our video doorbell camera, it helps keep your home or business secure and there’s no subscription required.

Outside of work, Clark enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and daughter. He didn't say this, but he's also a really good volleyball player! What he loves most about being an electrician is that it's hands-on, easier on the body than some other trades, always interesting, and keeps him learning something new every day.
