Our hearts have been with everyone from Summerland this past week. We've gone to write this post multiple times, but couldn't find the right words. It's devastating to see our community going through this.

Thinking of everyone thats been displaced, evacuated, and affected by the fire, and especially those who have lost everything.

To the firefighters, first responders, volunteers, search and rescue and everyone working tirelessly to protect our community - thank you ❤️

We've been busy working behind the scenes with donations and support where we can. It is absolutely beautiful and heartwarming seeing how quickly and strongly our community united.

We were honoured to support the West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation last week. They held a dinner right here in Penticton 💛

The WCK Foundation is an incredible organization making a real difference in the lives of families affected by childhood cancer and blood disorders. Childhood cancer impacts so much more than the child receiving treatment, it affects the entire family. That's why the West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation provides free support to families across B.C., including meals, caregiver resources, camps, connection programs, adapted clothing, and emotional support.

Their mission is to help families focus on what matters most, knowing they have a caring community standing beside them every step of the way.

We're proud to support such a meaningful cause and the amazing work they do.

In three weeks we'll be gathering in Penticton at The Bufflehead Cafe for an evening of great food, connection, and impact in support of children and families navigating childhood cancer and blood disorders.

🎟️ $75 per ticket

Your $75 ticket includes a gourmet burger (beef, chicken, or veggie), salad, a beverage, and a $49 tax receipt.
